Welcome to the Bloomington, Minnesota New Horizon Academy! Our school is located in the Pentagon Park neighborhood near Interstate 494, France Avenue, and Highway 100. We have been serving Bloomington, Edina, and Eden Prairie children and families since 1990. With beautiful classrooms, highly trained teachers, rigorous health and safety procedures, and national accreditations, we know your family will feel right at home at New Horizon Academy! Our Bloomington early childhood center has two infant rooms, two toddler rooms, and four preschool rooms. We use a research-based daycare curriculum that includes STEAM, reading, social-emotional learning, and more – all with the goal of preparing young children for kindergarten and beyond! I was born in the Philippines, grew up in Guam, and consider Minnesota my home. I am blessed with 3 children and a husband who I have been with since 1999. I have struggled through poverty, natural disasters, and losses, but have been very fortunate to be surrounded by caring people that have helped us through. Faith, family, and friends are what is important to me!

New Horizon Academy Bloomington – MN Center is a fabulous daycare and learning center. You can be sure your child will get individualized attention and nurturing. The directors, teachers, and staff are always open to any comments or requests, and they all know each and every child. They go above and beyond to make sure all children are safe, learning, and having fun!
I am so happy we decided to put our boys into the New Horizon Academy daycare in Bloomington! The teachers are so caring towards our boys and every single time we come to pick them up, they’re always smiling. I love the fact that I can check on them daily through the family app too!
My son was at this New Horizon Academy for 2 years after transferring from another center. Within a few weeks of him transferring, I had seen a major change. He was identifying his numbers, colors, and shapes. He even learned how to spell and write his name at 3 years old. I love the communication with his teachers and the director. Although he just graduated, I know a lot of his success in kindergarten is because of the education, dedication, and patience of this school.
We’re so happy with the teachers and staff at New Horizon Academy. We’ve had our little guy at the Bloomington MN Center location for a few months now and everyday he’s happy and playful. We love the mobile app to be able to check in on him and receive regular updates from his teachers. We highly recommend this New Horizon Academy and look forward to a long relationship!
